Tree & Shrub Philosophy

Our Tree & Shrub program is anchored with deep root feedings to promote new growth & root development. Our Insect & Disease sprays are custom designed for the plant material, and potential concerns 2-8 weeks in advanced. The problem with spraying active insects and diseases is, it's too late - the damage is already done. That's why we're looking at the type of plant, current weather, soil temperature and future weather forecast, and coming up with a plan of attack.

 

Our Program

Dormant Oil - Horticulture oil to help control specific pests during their over wintering season.

Spring Deep Root Feeding - Fertilizer to help promote root development, plant growth, and improved flowering.

Spring Protection - Insect Control to help protect new growth & Disease Control to minimize Summer Diseases.

Summer protection - Insect Control to help minimize insect activity & Disease Control to help minimize Late Summer & Fall Diseases.

Early Fall Protection - Insect Control to help minimize insect activity and Disease Control to help minimize Fall Diseases.

Winter Protection - The type of plant material will dictate which product is applied. This application will help protect the plant throughout the winter and to help smother insect eggs.

*Our Tree & Shrub Program is not designed to control every insect and all diseases because total control is not possible. Our program is designed to help keep the insect population from "booming". Therefore their feeding should not be as intense. We are also spraying for diseases in advance to try and stop them before they start, and to help minimize their activity. Basically, our program is designed to help the plants to focus on growth and flowering rather than repair.
